This environment was created for a school project a few years ago, where the assignment was to develop an original game concept and build a fully realized environment to support it. The process required us to model our assets in a 3D program and then import them into Unreal Engine 5 to assemble and light the final scene.
Every asset in this environment was created by me, including the shed, house, furniture, lighting fixtures, fencing, and my personal favorite, the antler chandelier.
This project pushed both my skills and my hardware to their limits, but it also became one of my biggest achievements. If I were to revisit it today, I would refine certain elements, particularly the waterfalls, as they don’t fully align with the tone of the environment. I also wish I had documented more of the pipeline process at the time to better showcase the development stages. But overall, this piece represents a major milestone in my growth as an environment artist and game developer.
